Play On Cue is a music player designed to cue and play individual sounds and songs upon tapping the Play button. The app is tailored for theater groups, talent shows, concerts, karaoke, musicians, DJs, and sound engineers - professionals who require precise song cues. After each song is finished, the next one is displayed and ready for playback as Play On Cue intentionally stops automatically.

Users can easily add songs, playlists, or clear the cue without interrupting the current playback. Song titles and artists are shown prominently in large and readable text, accompanied by album artwork if available.

To create playlists, users can utilize iTunes and select the playlists in Play On Cue, then tap "Load all songs" for each set or scene. The songs will follow the order saved in the playlist, allowing for modifications like adding, removing, or reordering tracks during playback.

Play On Cue simplifies initiating sounds or songs one by one as necessary in live performances. The app offers support for AirTurn and other Bluetooth remotes that can be enabled/disabled in system settings. Additionally, users have the option to rotate the display upside down to maneuver around audio cables.

Support for AirTurn is defaulted to disabled - it must be manually enabled in system settings for use. Specific remote devices may require a different mode selection for proper transport control.

When the iPod music player is active (e.g., during intermission), Play On Cue will continue running and monitoring the iPod's playlist. Tapping the NEXT or PREVIOUS button readies the app for starting your show by halting the iPod's playback and queuing your song list.

While Play On Cue has the capability to stream songs from iTunes Match, it's recommended to play locally stored songs on your device to ensure optimal performance and prevent potential performance glitches caused by unforeseen network issues.
